Abstract

This paper presents two methods concerned with local estimation of recoverable reserves which are the uniform conditioning by panel grade and indicator kriging.

Our aim is to determine how efficient both methods are, and also how easily the results can be obtained. The affine correction is used to correct for the support effect in indicator kriging. Considering the amount of data this is a nice opportunity to study the potential of both methods referred to.
