Abstract
The raspberry leaf and bud mite (Phyllocoptes gracilis (Nalepa)) occurs throughout Britain on cultivated and wild raspberry, hybrid berries and blackberry. Where infestations are severe, vigour, yield and fruit quality are reduced. Damage is more prevalent on raspberries growing in sheltered situations.
