Abstract

During the ongoing international workshop there is one key session on the topic realization of specimen banking. During this session prominent colleagues from both the United States and the German Federal Republic have discussed the operational aspect of the present pilot projects according to the state of the art. The Japanese partner, who joined the effort after its original initiation, discussed the present status of studies on sampling and banking in Japan.
