Abstract
We have analysed IRAS observations of M31 at 12, 25, 60, and 100 micron. The data were obtained as part of the ‘Additional Observations’ Program. Two large fields together covering M31 were mapped with the survey instrument in all four wavelength bands. Preliminary results of these data have been presented by Habing et al. (1984). Additional higher resolution data have been obtained at 50 and 100 micron with the CPC for several small fields in the nuclear region and the NE arm.
