Abstract
An analysis of the amplitude modulation of specific ℓ=1 p modes, has revealed a mean splitting of 0.74 µHz over the frequency range 2.4 to 4.0 mHz. The effects of large scale surface phenomena rotating at the −27 day surface rotation rate are also detected. The lifetime of the ℓ=1 modes is seen to vary from ›120 days at 2425.1 µHz to −50 days at 3912.2 µHz.
