Efficient Variant of FastICA Algorithm for Speech Features Extraction

Abstract

We propose an efficient variant of FastICA (EFICA) algorithm which is asymptotically efficient. The simulation results show superior performance of the EFICA algorithm compared with the fast fixed-point ICA (FastICA) algorithm and the Power ICA algorithm.
