Samenvatting
Het is essentieel dat de problematiek zo volledig mogelijk in kaart wordt gebracht, alvorens daadwerkelijk met schematherapie (ST) te starten (onder andere Beck, Freeman, Davis & Associates, 2004; Van Genderen & Arntz, 2005; Young, Klosko & Weishaar, 2005). Het maakt voor de therapeut en de patiënt inzichtelijk welke schema’s een rol spelen, hoe zij zijn ontstaan en wat de invloed van de schema’s is op de huidige problematiek.
