Zusammenfassung

Während in den 1980er Jahren Institutionen wiederentdeckt wurden in der Politikwissenschaft, standen die 1990er im Zeichen der Wiederentdeckung von Ideen in verschiedenen Formen und Funktionen. In der Einleitung zu diesem Sammelband haben wir diese Entwicklung als Ganze aus einer disziplingeschichtlichen Perspektive betrachtet, und in den nachfolgenden Beiträgen werden jeweils spezifische theoretische und methodische Zugänge näher diskutiert. Im vorliegenden Beitrag soll dagegen versucht werden, einen systematischen Überblick zu geben über den gegenwärtigen Stand der wissens- und ideenorientierten Politikforschung.
