Zusammenfassung

Mit jeder neuen wissenschaftlichen Entdeckung und mit jeder weiteren philosophischen Abhandlung über Induktion scheint sich die Behauptung des Philosophen C. D. Broad zunehmend zu bestätigen: Induktion ist der Siegeszug der Naturwissenschaften und die Schmach der Philosophie. Da zumindest die zweite Hälfte dieser Behauptung unbezweifelbar ist, spricht alles dafür, daß auch diese Abhandlung das ihre zur Vergrößerung philosophischer Schande beitragen wird.
