Zusammenfassung
Klinische Entscheidungsunterstützungssysteme (KEUS) sind Computersysteme, die die Entscheidung des Klinikers wesentlich beeinflussen, und zwar zum Zeitpunkt der Behandlung eines individuellen Patienten. Diese Systeme kommen in verschiedensten Varianten und Spielformen vor und sind daher formal schwer zu charakterisieren. Obwohl ihre Bedeutung im Behandlungsprozess des Patienten unbestritten ist, auch und vor allem wegen der immer größeren verfügbaren Daten- bzw. Wissensmenge und der fortschreitenden Digitalisierung, treten sie in manchen Bereichen nur punktuell in Erscheinung bzw. werden im klinischen Alltag noch zu wenig genutzt. Diese Systeme erlauben die schnelle standardisierte Reaktion auf neue medizinische Erkenntnisse in der medizinischen Behandlung und Dokumentation bei gleichzeitiger Reduktion von medizinischen Fehlern. Die Vielfalt an Erscheinungsformen von KEUS erschwert die Kategorisierung von dieser Art Computersystemen. In dieser Arbeit wird eine 3-stufige Einteilung versucht und mit Beispielen aus der klinischen Praxis unterlegt. Der Erfolg von KEUS mit Elementen der künstlichen Intelligenz wirft auch rechtliche Fragen auf, die in dieser Arbeit beleuchtet werden.
