Zusammenfassung
Vor dem Hintergrund aktueller Herausforderungen durch die Gesundheitspolitik und auch durch die veränderte Wettbewerbssituation im Gesundheitsmarkt gewinnt unternehmerisches Denken und Handeln sowohl für Existenzgründer als auch für angestellte Beschäftigte im Gesundheitswesen zunehmend an Bedeutung. Gleichzeitig bietet das Krankenhaus als stark reguliertes System besondere Voraussetzungen, an die eine erfolgreiche Umsetzung des „Unternehmers im Unternehmen“ geknüpft ist. Ziel des vorliegenden Beitrags ist es, die zentralen Erkenntnisse aus der Entrepreneurship-Forschung auf die Gesundheitsbranche zu übertragen. Zunächst wird die Relevanz unternehmerischer Potenziale im Krankenhauskontext diskutiert. Darauf aufbauend werden zentrale personen- und bedingungsbezogene Einflussfaktoren für Entrepreneurship im Krankenhaus illustriert. Der Beitrag schließt mit Handlungsempfehlungen, in welcher Form Personal- und Organisationsentwicklung im Krankenhaus unternehmerisches Denken und Handeln der Mitarbeiter unterstützen und fördern können.
