Study of Heat Flow in Poland with Special Regard to Tectonophysical Problems

  • Conference paper
Terrestrial Heat Flow in Europe

Abstract

The paper presents a synthesis of research of the heat flow, the geothermal gradient, and temperatures at various depths in Poland. It gives the interpretation of geothermal parameters on the basis of deep crustal structure and information on the tectonophysical development of the region under study; data on heat generation as a function of depth are also taken into account.
