Zusammenfassung
Der Arzt versucht, seine Beobachtungen am Krankenbett in erster Linie durch anatomische Organveränderungen zu erklären. In vielen Fällen ist es jedoch nicht möglich, eine befriedigende Erklärung für einen Krankheitszustand durch den pathologisch-anatomischen Befund zu erhalten, weil die typischen anatomischen Veränderungen fehlen, für die ein Krankheitssymptom pathognomonisch zu sein scheint.
