Das Phenylhydrazin, C6 H5 NH NH2, welches durch Reduktion von Diazobenzolchlorid zuerst von E. Fischer1) erhalten worden war, ist eine Verbindung, die wegen ihrer leichten Reaktionsfähigkeit zu einer grossen Zahl von Kondensationen Verwendung finden kann.
