Abstract
Fibrosarcomas are malignant neoplasms that occur in the dermis and subcutis of the back, thorax, abdomen, head, and legs of mice. These neoplasms may appear as flattened elevations or as nodular masses. Alopecia frequently occurs in the skin overlying the mass, and ulceration of the skin may also be present. The cut surface is grayish-white; areas of hemorrhage are commonly seen within the larger masses.
