Zusammenfassung

Hämangiome sind definiert als wachsende, gutartige Tumoren des vaskulären Endotheliums. Sie sind bei Geburt häufig noch nicht vorhanden, werden meist erst ab der 3. Woche als hellrote Veränderungen sichtbar, wachsen über einige Monate und bilden sich dann großteils über Jahre allmählich wieder zurück (Abb. 1).
