Abstract

Since computers have been introduced to the teaching of mathematics, several pieces of software have been developed that are aimed at improving the learning process. Geometry is a domain of knowledge which is particularly involved with the growing use of software in teaching, because of the important role played by external representations (usually called figures) and the new ways of handling these representations made possible by software specifically designed for geometry.
