Zusammenfassung

Veränderungen ereigniskorrelierter Hirnpotentiale (EKP), durch die sich schizophrene Patienten von psychisch gesunden Kontrollprobanden unterscheiden, wurden wiederholt beschrieben. Die P300-Amplitudenminderung bei Schizophrenen erwies sich dabei als besonders stabiles biologisches Phänomen (Olbrich 1989; Pritchard 1986). Dagegen sind die Befunde zur P300-Latenz, zur topographischen Verteilung und zur klinischen Relevanz der Veränderungen widersprüchlich.
