Zusammenfassung

Die Herkunft von Zellen des Monozyten-/Makrophagensystems (MMS) aus dem Knochenmark ist durch zahlreiche Untersuchungen gesichert [44, 64, 95 u. a.]. Da Makrophagen ihre Funktion in engem Zusammenwirken mit anderen Blutzellen (Lymphozyten, Zellen der Myelopoese u. a.) erfüllen, begleiten Veränderungen des Blutbildes sowie immunologische Abweichungen häufig Erkrankungen des Makrophagensystems.
