Abstract

Für einen baldigen Abschluß der floristischen Inventarisierung reichen in den Tropen die Anstrengungen noch nicht aus. Wegen der raschen Veränderungen sind Arbeitsprogramme nötig, die einen Abschluß in den nächsten 10 bis 20 Jahren vorsehen, wie sie jetzt in Äthiopien und Chile in Angriff genommen werden. Auch in den gemäßigten Breiten ist aber an einen Abschluß noch nicht zu denken.
