Applications of Morphometry in Tumour Pathology

  • Chapter
A Manual of Morphometry in Diagnostic Pathology

Abstract

The main problem in this type of work is distinguishing between clinical benign lesions and potential malignant or malignant growth. The lesions usually show histologically or cytologically a continuous spectrum from benign to malignant (see sections 2.1,2.5 and 4.3)
