Frauen und AIDS

Zusammenfassung

Die tägliche Begegnung mit Patientinnen in der ambulanten und stationären Versorgung einer großstädtischen Klinik läßt vielfach die Gefühlssituation erkennen, in der sich Frauen heute befinden, wenn es um das Thema AIDS geht. Es sind mehr oder weniger konkrete Ängste, die geäußert werden. Da ist die Angst, dem Partner Schutzmaßnahmen vorzuschlagen, er könnte dies als Mißtrauen werten, das Vertrauen in die gegenseitige Treue wäre erschüttert. Oft bestehen Ängste, was das eigene Vorleben anbelangt. Das jugendliche „Erfahrungen sammeln“, fragt oft nicht nach Sicherheiten.
