Immunohistochemical Investigation of Chordomas: Histogenetic and Differential Diagnostic Aspects

  • Chapter
Biological Characterization of Bone Tumors

Part of the book series: Current Topics in Pathology ((CT PATHOLOGY,volume 80))

Abstract

Chordomas are tumors of very low incidence. Among 7400 cases collected in the Bone Tumor Registry of Westphalia, only 32 are chordomas, representing 0.4% of the total.
