Zusammenfassung

Die Ursachen akuter gastroduodenaler Blutungen sind vorwiegend streßbedingte Erosionen und Ulcera. In zweiter Linie kommen medikamentös induzierte Läsionen in Frage. Eine genaue Kenntnis über Häufigkeit und Spontanverlauf dieser Krankheit sind Voraussetzung für eine sinnvolle medikamentöse Therapie.
