Abstract

When medicinal plants are concerned, which are the main point of interest of this conference, it seems obvious that we can find in plants unlimited resources. This is especially the case if we refer to the various vitamins that our organism is unable to synthetize though it needs them, it is also the case of other substances which have undeniable medicinal properties such as many alkaloids, etc. Some compounds can be synthetized only in some precise organs, in specific tissues or during certain precise physiological stage of the plant.
