Abstract

It is our aim to draw attention to certain osseous structures of the skull base which could possibly remain undetected in CT. CT systems of the head, available until a short time ago, allowed only a limited analysis of an atomic details, because of disturbing bone artefacts, slice thickness, and limitations of access to the skull base.
