Abstract

Askov Experimental Station is located in the south of Jutland (55°28’N, 09°07’E; elevation 63 m a.s.l.). Annual average precipitation and potential evapotranspiration is 862 mm and 543 mm, respectively, and mean annual temperature is 7.7°C (1961–1990 averages). Monthly mean temperatures for January and July are -0.2 and 15.5°C, respectively. Global radiation and number of hours with sunshine are 3385 MJ m-2 and 1539 hours per year.
