Zusammenfassung

Etwa 3–5% der malignen Neuerkrankungen im Hals-Nasen-Ohrenbereich sind Halslymphknotenmetastasen eines unbekannten Primärtumors [12, 54]. Damit sind die Lymphknotenketten des Halses ein häufiger Manifestationsort eines „carcinoma of unknown primary“, eines sog. CUP-Syndroms.
