BWS und LWS warden in 3 Bereiche eingeteilt: Den kyphotischen thorakalen Teil von T1-T10, den thorakolumbalem Übergang mit fast horizontal eingestellten Wirbeln von T11-L2 und die lordotische untere LWS von L3-L5.
