Zusammenfassung
Bei Frau und Mann kann die Zeugungsfähigkeit durch verschiedene Umweltfaktoren negativ beeinflußt werden. Zu diesen Umweltfaktoren gehören Lärm, Streß, Nahrungsmittelangebot, ggf. Mangel an Vitaminen und Spurenelementen, ferner Genußgifte (Nikotin, Alkohol, Cannabisprodukte etc.) und Arzneimittel sowie Umweltgifte, physikalische Noxen (z. B. radioaktive Strahlung, Wärme) und schließlich sozioökonomische Faktoren. Neben der Störung der Gametenbereitstellung können diese Umweltfaktoren nach erfolgreicher Gametenverschmelzung die Einnistung des befruchteten Eies behindern oder das Absterben des bereits eingenisteten Embryos bewirken (Abortauslösung).
