Ultrafast measurements on (NH3)5RuIIINCRuII(CN)5 - in solution reveal an ultrafast spectral component due to vibrationally unrelaxed stimulated emission, allowing for new insights on the interplay of solvent and solute degrees of freedom in an electron transfer reaction.
