Zusammenfassung

Schrittmacher-induzierte Vorhoftachykardie eignet sich sehr gut zur Untersuchung von frequenzabhängigen Funktionen an Herz und Kreislauf. 1967 wurde von Friesinger in Baltimore (7) und Lau in New York (12) erstmals über die Anwendung kontrollierter Herzfrequenzsteigerung in der Diagnostik der Koronarerkrankungen berichtet. Sowton und Mitarb. (1,9) haben die Methode benutzt, um die „Angina pectoris-Schwelle“ zu bestimmen und um die Wirkung von Nitroglycerin bei Angina pectoris zu prüfen.
