Abstract

The term “liquor contacting neuronal system” is used by us for elements of the central nervous system that are directly contacting the cerebrospinal fluid by their special, ventricular nerve endings (Vigh, Teichmann and Aros, 1968; Vigh, 1968a, b, 1969b; Vigh-Teichmann, 1968, 1970).
