In diesem Beitrag werden die magnetischen Eigenschaften von Stoffen behandelt, die aus kleinen ferromagnetischen oder ferrimagnetischen Kristallen bestehen, welche in einer dia- oder paramagnetischen (oder gelegentlich auch ferromagnetischen oder antiferromagnetischen) Matrix geometrisch fixiert und voneinander separiert eingebettet sind.
