Abstract

After characteristics of contradictory information and its presentation have been studied, another important thing must be considered that how to find the main contradictory information to enhance the efficiency of solving a contradictory problem. The present article therefore defined a contradictory degree to express the incompatible level of a pair of contradictory information and constructed a new coordinates system called average angle plane coordinates to describe it. In the coordinates system, all contradictory degrees can be marked and connected forming a contradictory information field, which provides a good tool for differentiating primary and secondary contradictory information. These basic studies are the foundation of intelligent processing of contradictory problems.
