Abstract
Staged models for software process improvement have been extensively used by organizations. However the relationship between these models and organization wide continuous process improvement has not been studied extensively. This study builds upon a previous study that aims to fill in this gap by analyzing the software process improvement activities within a software company that has CMMI level-3 certification. The employees’ perception regarding the organization wide continuous process improvement activities are analyzed and improvement opportunities for staged models are discussed.
