Abstract

The idea of side information is introduced into multiple watermarking, and a multiple watermarking model with side information is proposed based on the Slepian-Wolf source encoding theory. In the proposed model, the correlation between the cover work and the multiple watermarks and the correlation among the watermarks themselves are considered and used as side information. The proposed model is used to improve the regular segmented multiple watermarking algorithm, and a novel watermarking algorithm is presented. Experimental results show that the improved algorithm can get a much better validity compared with the regular blind algorithm, and the efficiency of the proposed model is demonstrated. Namely, the proposed model can be used to guide the design of multiple watermarking algorithms effectively.
