Zusammenfassung

Dieses Kapitel befasst sich mit den embryonalen viszeralen Tumoren Neuroblastom, Nephroblastom (Wilms-Tumor), Hepatoblastom und Pankreatoblastom. Diese hochmalignen Neoplasien kommen bei Erwachsenen nicht vor und manifestieren sich bevorzugt im Säuglings- und Kleinkindesalter. Sie sprechen in der Regel gut auf Chemotherapie und zum Teil auf Bestrahlung an. Deshalb ist die Chirurgie stets ein Teil eines umfassenden Therapieregimes, das sich streng nach den Therapieoptimierungsprotokollen der Gesellschaft für Pädiatrische Onkologie und Hämatologie richten sollte.
