Inflation in String Theory

  • Chapter
Inflationary Cosmology

Part of the book series: Lecture Notes in Physics ((LNP,volume 738))

Abstract

In this chapter we describe the recent progress achieved in the construction of inflationary models in the context of string theory with flux compactification and moduli stabilization. We also discuss a possibility to test string theory through cosmological observations.
