Die Frage, ob die sozialräumliche Umgebung eines Menschen ein relevanter Faktor zur Erklärung individueller Einstellungen und Verhaltensweisen ist, wird in der sozialwissenschaftlichen Forschung zunehmend thematisiert. Dies gilt vor allem im Hinblick auf die Stadt bzw. ihre Teilgebiete.
