Religiöser Pluralismus im Fokus quantitativer Religionsforschung

Abstract

In diesem Beitrag werden die Folgen von religiösem Pluralismus für das soziale Kapital in ausgewählten europäischen Ländern untersucht. Zwei Fragen stehen dabei im Mittelpunkt. Erstens, inwieweit unterscheiden sich verschiedene Religionsgruppen hinsichtlich ihrer zivilgesellschaftlichen Einbindung und ihres Vertrauens in die Mitbürger? Zweitens, welchen Einfluss übt der nationalspezifische Grad an religiösen Pluralismus auf die individuelle Vereinsaktivität und Vertrauensbereitschaft aus? Zu Beantwortung dieser Fragen werden Umfragedaten des European Social Surveymit Makrodaten aus weiteren Quellen im Rahmen von kreuzklassifizierten Mehrebenenanalysen verknüpft.
