Zusammenfassung
Machtnetzwerke sind Operationalisierungen von Vorstellungen über Macht oder Machtstrukturen, die sich auf diese Weise empirisch untersuchen lassen. Ein solches Vorhaben hängt von zweierlei theoretischen Vorgaben ab; zum einen müssen die wichtigen Dimensionen von Machtbeziehungen aus allgemeinen Machtbegriffen abgeleitet werden und zum anderen sind die von theoretische Ansätzen wie Pluralismus oder Korporatismus implizierten Arten von Machtstrukturen in der Politik moderner, kapitalistisch verfaßter demokratischer Verfassungsstaaten heranzuziehen. Die Auswahl der Machtbeziehungen wird im zweiten Abschnitt begründet werden und die Vorstellungen über Machtstrukturen werden unter Rückgriff auf die theoretischen Ansätze des Pluralismus und des Korporatismus im dritten Abschnitt behandelt. In diesem ersten Abschnitt geht es zunächst um eine Präzisierung der Fragestellung.
