Zusammenfassung

Die erste Phase der Anwendung von DV-Anlagen zur Unterstützung der administrativen betrieblichen Datenverarbeitung, die sich in vielen großen und mittleren Unternehmen schon in den 60er Jahren vollzog, war gekennzeichnet durch die Programmierung stark formalisierter Massen-Datenverarbeitungsprozesse. Beispiele für die ersten realisierten Anwendungssysteme findet man in großer Anzahl in den Bereichen Rechnungswesen, Buchhaltung und Abrechnung. Das DV-Management war in erster Linie ein Management der Programmierung. DV-Manager waren in dieser ersten Phase häufig erfahrene Programmierer, die sich durch erfolgreiches Koordinieren von kleinen bzw. mittelgroßen Programmierergruppen und durch gutes Zusammenarbeiten mit den Anwendern im Rechnungswesen profiliert hatten.
