Zusammenfassung
Wenn man Aktien einer bestimmten Gesellschaft kaufen will, ärgert man sich über alle Personen, die zum gleichen Zeitpunkt an der Börse als Nachfrager auftreten. Nachdem man die Aktien erworben hat, ist einem jede Person sympathisch, die Aktien derselben Gesellschaft nachfragt. Aus diesem Sachverhalt folgert Morgenstern (1972, S.120), daß bei Operationen am Aktienmarkt die zeitliche Folge der Aktionen entscheidend ist. Es ist daher nicht verwunderlich, wenn die Praxis dem Timing— über die technische Analyse— einen hohen Stellenwert einräumt. Dagegen hat sich die Betriebswirtschaftslehre vor allem der Aktienbewertung und optimalen Portefeuille-Zusammenstellung zugewandt. Das von Markowitz geschaffene Grundmodell stellt zwei Probleme in den Vordergrund: die Wahl des Entscheidungsprinzips unter Unsicherheit und die besondere Möglichkeit der Diversifikation, die auf der Abhängigkeit der Aktienkurse eines Zeitraumes beruht. Das Problem des Timing wird dabei nicht angesprochen.
