Abstract

The issues of improving the design of adsorption dryers for compressed air are considered, by using the energy of microwave radiation in the process of regeneration of the adsorbent. The expediency of moving the adsorbent layer relative to the source of microwave radiation during the desorption is proved in order to achieve better uniformity of heating of the desorbed material. The expediency of using software products using the finite element method is shown with the aim of modeling the heating process of the adsorbent in the cavity of the adsorption column.
