Abstract

In the paper analysis of the fish hook maneuver simulation is presented, which seems to be an interesting example of a situation, when the vehicle must realise a sudden maneuver.

Research was based on simulation in MSC Admas/Car. However road parameters and vehicle loading were assumed to reflect a real situation, in which the vehicle has to change its direction. The maneuver was realised on both flat and uneven road surface, where the irregularities occurred randomly.

Certain aspects of vehicle dynamics have been taken into account, as well as the influence of the external disturbances on vehicle response. It is necessary to mention, that the correlation coefficient between irregularities for the left and right wheel was 1, which means, that they were identical for both sides of vehicle wheels.
