Abstract
The human eye is a unique part of the human body that has been described as the window to the human soul. The eye being a complex organ is broadly divided into two segments—anterior and posterior segments. Each of these broad segments has specific disease conditions associated with them. This chapter will extensively describe these various components of the eye and the common disease conditions associated with it.
