Abstract
Interpretation is more easily said than done. The task itself is complex and decisions may be difficult (Part III). Furthermore, the intent of the expert pathologist, set forth in writing, is not always decipherable by clinicians and patients. Also, there is dawning recognition that the opinions of different experts are not necessarily in harmony, whether in regard to the interpretation of the basic H&E stained material, or the interpretation and significance of IHC biomarker results.
