Abstract

The relevance and novelty of the topic is argued by the great state significance of using the potential of consumer cooperation in the socio-economic infrastructure of rural areas and the formation of food resources in the context of sanctions and embargoes. The novelty of the study is determined by the fact that the need to use the potential of consumer cooperation in the procurement of agricultural products in households, in improving the efficiency of small forms of farming is further argued. Harnessing the potential of consumer cooperation stimulates the creation of a competitive environment among agricultural producers. The article defines the role and place of consumer cooperation in ensuring food security, the organization of agricultural procurement, procurement activities of consumer societies.
