Modern Aspects of Electrochemistry

Part of the book series: Modern Aspects of Electrochemistry ((MAOE,volume 19))

Abstract

Periodic electrolysis may be defined as electrolysis involving the periodic application of current or potential pulses of rectangular, triangular, or sinusoidal form. Electrolysis with periodic pulse reverse, double rectangular pulses, ramp pulses, or any waveforms that fluctuate with time in a regular fashion is also referred to as periodic electrolysis.
